- Pick up a hobby! Something to sometimes distract yourself from the world is good for your mental health.
- Don’t blame yourself. After all, we need to feel like we’re in a crisis: because we are. Support, donate and play your part staying at home. No single individual will make this better, so working together is key.
- Reach out to your local representatives demanding better and humane public health measures. It’s their job to make our lives better after all!
- Emotion usually precedes action, so accept that your feelings need to be a fuel for change. Good change that is. Please don’t go to national parks or crowded places if you feel “tired” or feel like the monotony of pandemic life is getting the best of you. Leave that for people with actual mental health problems.
- Action can usually precede emotion as well, so do something good for the world from home. I promise you’ll feel good afterwards! Or at least, someone that really needs your money will be happy!
- Remember that turning the TV off is a privilege! Silencing notifications also counts as privilege! There are people dying who would rather not be ignored because you get a headache.
- Stay at home. Please.
